How It All Began
Our Story
The Beginning
Where we met
Friday. 18:30. Tamarind Kitchen, Soho, London. We were the only people in the restaurant and we were surrounded by pretty much all of the restaurant staff at our service. What was to be a two-hour-ish dinner went on to us being asked to leave the restaurant as they were shutting shop.
Growing Together
Falling in love
We've chosen each other intentionally. Whether we're exploring new corners of the city, being plant parents, hunting for the perfect restaurant, or chasing light for a photograph, we do it together — but we also do our own thing. Our separate spaces and individual hobbies mean we bring something new to each other every time we meet. It's the late conversations before bed, the games that get too competitive, and the genuine support for each other's random passions that have made us realise: home isn't a place we share. It's each other, chosen again and again.
The Proposal
Forever, yes
Kew Gardens was already special when Ajay decided to propose there a year later, on a warm August day. Anmol spotted the ring box in his pocket almost immediately and watched him get progressively more stressed about keeping it secret. She didn't tell him. When he finally asked by the lake, he had no idea she'd known all along — and had just been waiting.
